Installation Instructions

Prepare the FlatLink:\n
- \n
- Remove the FlatLink (or compatible product) from the winch line. \n
- Use a flat-blade screwdriver to carefully remove the rubber barbs from the product. \n

Install the Rope Guard:\n
- \n
- Place the FlatLink on a sturdy surface (e.g., a wooden block) with the slot on the Rope Guard facing the rear. \n
- Insert the four drive rivets into the guard and use a ¼-inch punch to hammer the rivet posts down until flush with the rivet head. \n

Reinstall Rubber Barbs:\n

- Apply lubricant to the barbs and reinstall the rubber pieces on the opposite side of the guard. \n
