The American Original series delves into the history of Fender for striking instruments for the players of today. This model in particular is constructed from an ash body in an iconic double-cutaway shape. A maple neck fashioned in a thick "Soft V" profile is paired with a maple fingerboard for stellar playability. Three Fender Pure Vintage '59 Single-Coil Strat pickups produce all the crystal clear and articulate tones Stratocasters have played with to win the world over countless times.
Original hardware specifications add to the authenticity and playing experience of this Stratocaster. A Pure Vintage six-saddle synchronized tremolo bridge, bone nut, and Pure Vintage single line "Fender Deluxe" tuning machines ensure solid intonation while playing, even when working tremolo bends into the mix.
