Grapefruit Seed extract has been shown to be effective in the treatment of various bowel pathogens. Specifically Candida and Geotrichum yeast species, as well as hemolytic coliform bacteria have been highly sensitive to Grapefruit seed extract. It had no adverse affects on normal fecal organisms. Patients taking grapefruit seed extract noticed improvement in constipation, flatulence and abdominal discomfort.

Juglans nigra (Black Walnut Hull) has a long traditional use as a vermifuge. It has been successfully employed in the treatment of flukes and many intestinal worms.

Origanum vulgare (Oregano) has often been used to treat respiratory disorders and complaints such as coughs and bronchial congestion, as well as urinary infections/disorders and rheumatoid arthritis. Present day use is often as an antifungal for conditions such a candidiasis.

Artemesia anuua (Wormwood) extract possesses antimicrobial effects and is used in the treatment of malaria (specifically Plasmodium Falciparum). Artemesia is often used to treat loss of appetite, dyspepsia, liver/gallbladder complaints, intestinal bloating, worm infestations, intermittent fevers, gastric insufficiency, gastritis, stomachache, and intestinal atony.

Leptandra virginica (Culver's root) is used as a cathartic and emetic. It promotes the secretion of bile, cleansing of the bowel, and detoxifying the liver, gallbladder and gastrointestinal tract.

Violet leaves are a mild laxative and purgative-Extracts made from the flowers are used as an expectorant and narcotic property, although they are much less active as a purgative.

Ulmusfulra (Slippery Elm) is a demulcent and emollient whose main use is in making poultices. It is also taken internally for soothing coughs and healing the gastrointestinal and urinary tracts.

Clove can be used as a topical antiseptic and anesthetic. Other uses for clove, such as premature ejaculation, dry socket, and fever reduction lack reliable human clinical evidence.

Garlic has been used for centuries for the treatment of many infections. Recently, garlic was shown to be antibacterial (1% of penicillin strength), anti-fungal and antiviral. Some organisms for which garlic has been shown to be effective are: Bacillus cereus, Bacillus subtilis, Mycobacterium smegmatis, Steptocyces griseus, Staphylococcus aureus, Lactobacillus plantarium, Cryptococcal meningitis, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Xanthomonas maltophilia, herpes simplex virus type 1 and 2, parainfluenza virus type 3, vaccinia virus, vesicular stomatitis virus, and human rhinovirus type 2. Great toy!
Size: Small Size
My Frenchie absolutely loves this toy!!! It keeps her occupied for a long time. Has held up well to her chewing, and she's able to pick it up and carry it.

Great toy for small dogs
Size: Small Size
Our dog, who weighs 13 lbs, loves this ball. I like the fact that there are no batteries involved. The furry exterior is great for her as she can pick the ball up with her small mouth. I'd recommend this toy be used under supervision as larger dogs and heavy chewers could tear it apart quickly.
