Waarom een luchtpomp?
Wanneer de watertemperatuur stijgt, bijvoorbeeld in de zomer, daalt het zuurstofgehalte in de vijver. Een luchtpomp biedt dan de perfecte oplossing door extra zuurstof aan het water toe te voegen. Zo blijven vissen en planten gezond, zelfs bij warm weer.

Wintertip
Ook in de winter is een luchtpomp nuttig: gebruik deze om een deel van het vijveroppervlak ijsvrij te houden. Zo blijft de gasuitwisseling optimaal.
