From the liner notes: (..) I contacted his widow Lynn and in turn his son David in an attempt to re-isue those albums and find out if there were out-takes, demos, something/anything more. In a loft somewhere in Philadelphia it turned out that there were 33 reel-to-reel tapes, a bunch of cassettes and CDs, a plethora of notes (...), sketches, lyic ideas and photographs. This single album is the beginning of a refocusing on this iconic and by all accounts warm and far too generous man (...) Here we have out-takes and demos from those ESP-Disk albums, new songs, and early recordings; a carefully insight in the psyche of Tom Rapp and Pearls Before Swine. (...)
