Dit wijnbedrijf werd in 1921 opgericht door de grootvader van de huidige eigenaar. Door het uitbreken van de Tweede Wereldoorlog, moest deze ondernemer zijn droom al vroegtijdig opgeven. Door deze oorlog werd er ook veel schade toegebracht aan de wijngaarden van Cignomoro. Hierdoor was de productie lange tijd erg laag, bedoelt voor lokaal gebruik en werd er een groot deel van de oogst aangeboden aan lokale coöperaties. Maar sinds 1951 was het weer tijd om het bedrijf echt te laten groeien. Ciro Matichecchia nam in 2001 de leiding en focuste zich op export en verkoop. Het zijn unieke wijnen van hoge kwaliteit. De druiven worden volledig met de hand geoogst en in kleine kratjes naar de wijnmakerij van Cignomoro gereden. De druiven worden hier direct geperst en in roestvrijstalen tanks gefermenteerd. De maceratie, waarbij de schilletjes op het sap blijven druiven, duurt ongeveer vier weken. Dit zorgt ervoor dat de uiteindelijke wijn de kleur en tannines van de druivenschilletjes optimaal opneemt. Na de maceratie rijpt de wijn tien maanden op barrique vaten van nieuw Frans en Amerikaans eiken.Geniet van een warme Primitivo di Manduria
En na tien maanden is het tijd om van deze Primitivo di Manduria te genieten. Het is een intens rood kleurige wijn met veel aroma’s en een echte smaakexplosie geeft in de mond. In de geur bosbessen en veel kruiden wat het een warme wijn maakt. De smaak is enorm fruitig, maar wel in perfecte balans. Hij combineert erg goed bij gebraden en gestoofd vlees, wild en bij belegen kaas.Shipping Notes

Unfortunately, it has an unpleasant scent
I read the reviews and a few mentioned they were not fond of the scent. I decided to give it a try since I liked the ingredients and it seemed like it would compliment my skin type. Yes, unfortunately the scent is just way too much for me. I did not open the item or use it. Upon opening the Amazon shipping bag, I could smell it. I decided to return it. I'm disappointed, because it might be a great product. I do not want to put the brand or product down since I was unable to try it. The scent is just not for me.

An amazing Korean herbal soap!
An amazing product!
With K-beauty products becoming popular worldwide, I was looking for a facial soap made with traditional Korean herbs & wild flowers etc. and ended up buying this product. Since it is a product made with traditional herbs & wild flowers, it has a strong herbal scent, but I personally liked the scent that reminded me of taking a herbal bath or herbal steam sauna. The foam was silky & sticky and after washing my face, it calmed down the redness and had a great soothing effect. If you want a medicinal soap made with traditional herbs & wild flowers that are not artificial, I highly recommend it. Although it wasn't very large size however it seemed to be made with such luxurious medicinal herbs & wild flowers. I love this product!

Smells heavenly!
- I could smell it immediately as soon as I pulled it out of the package; it smells so good! Really fresh. I think it’s the rosemary and eucalyptus oils in it maybe?
- It has both a manufacturing date and an expiration date printed on the package
- It has a really interesting texture (up close picture included).
- It does produce a lot of lather, although it’s not a sticky lather like the listing photos show. You can absolutely tell that there are several different types of oils in the ingredients, as your skin feels very nice and moisturized after use. I’ve only been using the bar for a few days but I am a bit leery due to the number of oils in the ingredients that it may clog my pores. Nothing so far though!
- Since it does create such a good lather, I can see how this bar would last you a long time.
- The price is pretty in line with other snail mucin cleansers and given the ingredients I think this is a quality product so I think it’s worth giving a try!
