Een zomerzeil zorgt ervoor dat uw zwembad goed geïsoleerd is, wanneer je er niet in zwemt. Zo kun je het zeil overdag of 's nachts op het water leggen om de afkoeling van het zwembadwater tegen te gaan. Niet alleen afkoeling, maar ook verdamping van het zwembadwater wordt tegengegaan. Daarnaast zorgt het Sundown zomerzeil er in beperkte mate voor dat fotosynthese wordt tegengegaan, zodat algen zich minder goed kunnen verspreiden.

Een ander groot voordeel met een noppenzeil is dat jouw chloorverbruik aanzienlijk zal verminderen. Dankzij UV wordt chloor namelijk afgebroken en dit houdt het zeil tegen. Door minder zonlicht in het zwembadwater te laten schijnen houd je het afbreekproces tegen en kan het chloor effectiever de bacteriën en algenvorming tegengaan.

Tip: heb je een zwembad warmtepomp? Dan adviseren we altijd om een zomerzeil te gebruiken.
