Recept

Garneer taarten of cakes met slagroom of meringue!

Bereid een stevige slagroom met minstens 30% vet en vanillesuiker of kies voor vloeibare room, die je opklopt tot hij heel stevig is.

Voor een perfecte meringue scheid je het eiwit van het eigeel. Je krijgt een luchtig en stevig schuim door het eiwit met suiker en een snufje zout op te kloppen met een krachtige mixer. Voeg 60 gram suiker toe voor elk eiwit. Voor een perfecte glans voeg je een paar druppels citroensap toe.


Voor een uniek ontwerp kun je synthetische of natuurlijke voedselkleurstoffen toevoegen. Verdeel de crème of meringue over verschillende kommen en voeg aan elke kant een andere kleurstof toe.


Doe alle kleuren in de zak zonder ze te mengen. Baken elke kleur af met een denkbeeldige lijn. Als de kleuren in elkaar overlopen, maak je dan geen zorgen, het ziet er nog steeds uniek uit. Zodra alle kleuren in de zak zitten, kun je beginnen met het versieren van je favoriete taart.

So, I have returned to purchase another one for myself and two more for my daughters. Then I don't have to worry about my daughters taking mine either. Yes, I'm finally thinking ahead, so maybe you should think ahead and get additional copies for your family members. Either way, try one and you'll likely be back for more. It makes a great gift. Well made, but not a good fit for Volvo XC40
One issue with this style of holder, is that the swing arm and holder add a fair amount of weight and extends that weight away from the vent, applying quite a bit more leverage on the vent. It may not be as much of an issue on horizontal vents, but the vertical vents on an XC40 will want to swing side-to-side with all that weight. As for the build of this particular holder, my only real gripe is the adjustment for the swing arm - after tightening the knob, there will still be some play in the arm...you have to jiggle it while tightening it down to fully secure it. The position of the release button allows one-handed removal of the phone, but really only works by pinching with your thumb on the screen. The clip for the vent accommodates relatively wide fins and the tabs can be rotated to help with stability or removed to provide more clearance (though rubberized tabs would be much more helpful).
