A masterpiece of industrial design that not only revolutionized coffee brewing but also set a benchmark for modern domestic design. The Braun KF 20 Aromaster, designed in 1972 by Florian Seiffert, is not just a coffee maker—it’s a piece of history and a perfect example of how functionality and aesthetics can merge seamlessly.

With its tower-like vertical design, optimized for kitchen spaces, and its striking orange casing, this coffee maker embodies the essence of 1970s design. Every line, every detail reflects Braun's innovative approach to blending practicality with beauty. Its cultural significance has transcended generations, earning its place in museums and private collections as an undisputed icon of 20th-century design.

This specific unit is even more special because it is in exceptionally well-preserved condition, featuring all-original parts, including the wiring and the highly sought-after original glass carafe—a rarity, as many have been lost or broken over the years. While the carafe shows some superficial scratches, it remains fully functional and authentic to its era.

We rate this piece overall as 9/10, with the original glass carafe rated 8/10, making it an impressive testament to durability and design excellence.

Why this coffee maker is unique:
• All-original components: From the glass carafe to the power cord, every part is original, making it a truly rare find.
• Functional and innovative design: Simplifies the coffee brewing experience while showcasing Braun’s signature quality.
• Historical significance: Featured in design museums worldwide, this coffee maker is a shining example of mid-century industrial design.
• Iconic color and shape: Its vibrant orange casing and compact design make it a stunning addition to any space.

Fun premise
Format: Kindle
Patriarch of Yotsurugi crime family dies and leaves the organisation to his only biological son, Hibaru, who is only 15. But he doesn't want to lead, so he lies to the family that his step-brother, Terasu, one of the twelve adopted children of the patriarch, was chosen in his stead. Other adopted siblings won't take this without a fight. Hibaru might be at disadvantage, but a meteor strikes and many people gain astro powers, great strength or other superpowers, Hibaru included. He sets out to take over the organisation after all, relying on his powers, but turns out, his siblings have gained those too. This had a fun premise. Hibaru is an idealist who wants to run an ethical crime organisation, and isn't afraid to fight for his ideals. But with everyone being super-powered, it's mostly about violence, though with some sibling stuff in the mix. I was bored most of the time. I wasn't fan of the art either.

A freaky adolescent rush of fun and horror
Format: Kindle
This is a series that wears it's inspirations proudly on it's sleeve (mainly the early aughts toonami block) and isn't afraid to show how much it loves them. The amazing creature visuals are perfect amounts of gorgeous and grotesque, complimented wonderfully by these quiet slice of life scenes that feel intimate and human. READ THIS, I BEG YOU!!!

A Experience to Be Read
Format: Paperback
I bought the first issue when the series debuted but couldn't afford to continue. So I'm glad I found this volume 1 trade paperback. On first read, it has a few inspirations from Japanese manga from panel layouts to manga/anime character tropes. That being the case, it carves its own identity as a romance story between a normal orphan boy and a centuries old vampire and their daily lives in an alternate history USA. I like mash-up of different cultures from German and Japanese to Spanish and English including the music, the written languages, and other aspects. Nights has a vibe not everyone will like off bat, but I'll will vouch that anyone should give it a try.
