Noland MD33 Engine/Vessel Monitor

Model: MD33

The MD33 is a data monitor system specifically designed for dual engine vessels. It converts rpm, analog gauge, and alarm/status(on/off) sensors into NMEA 2000 messages for display by MFD's(multi-function displays). It also accepts NMEA 0183 navigation data which it sends, along with engine data, to a PC for display and logging by our C-Port2 software. The MD33 is compatible with most marine engine sensors whether or not gauges are present. Setup and calibration is done via a PC-USB interface and supplied software. All analog engine and alarm connections are made to a terminal strip on the rear of the unit, while rpm and NMEA 0183 connections are made to the front terminal strip. A standard micro-C connector is provided for NMEA 2000 hookup. All data interfaces, USB, CAN, and Engine, are galvanically isolated from each other.

RPM is sensed directly from Alternator output, sending units, or ignition pulses. The user must set the number of pulses-per-revolution (ppr) for each engine. Analog (gauge) inputs can be taken from existing gauges or resistive senders which can be powered by the MD33. Analog inputs A1-A4 sense 0-20V while A5 can sense inputs up to 40V for direct sensing of Battery Voltage. Alarm/status inputs sense the presence or absence of voltage from switches, relays, or senders. Setup and calibration software is included.

Great toy
My dog loves this. The squeaker did break with in 24 hours, but that is most likely because my dog is an aggressive chewer! she still loves it and plays with it even though it no longer squeaks. Not good for dogs who like to pull the stuffing out!

Gift for my little dog…..
My little Bichon loves this toy. It was for her birthday. She loves shaking it and throwing it up in the air! Amazingly, she has not tried to unstuff him yet as she usually does with other similar toys! I guess that proves she really loves it then! It is well made and I would recommend it.

The Squeaker gave out the first week
I got this for my playful chihuahua. The size is rather large for him, but that's really not an issue for him; he already thinks he's ferocious and big as a Rottweiler. The Squeaker worked at first, but it's not attached to anything on the inside, so it floats freely and is hard to locate and squeeze, without it slipping out of my grasp. After a week, the squeaker is now completely collapsed and doesn't work at all. Its a terrible design. The Squeaker should be easily accessible, firmly attached to something on the inside, and should be more durable.
