AB NightVision Inc. is proud to announce the release our STORM & FURY Helmet Mounts. Both mounts are designed to work with night vision goggles using ball-plunger style interfaces. These include the ANVIS-9 (F4949), AVS-6, AN/PVS-23 (F5050), and GPNVG-18 Panoramic Night Vision Goggles.

The STORM Mount for ground use. Over the past several years many of the NVGs mentioned above have been transitioned from aviation use to ground use, requiring a tough, rugged mount to match the more demanding conditions.

The FURY Mount for aviation use. The FURY can be mounted directly to standard aviation helmets or can be secured with the included quick detach screws.

Designed for strength. Through careful, innovative design, we have been able to reduce weight of our mounts while increasing strength and adding features, all without increasing the cost. The entire frame of each mount is made from 7075-T651 aluminum alloy, which is 36% stronger than common 1018 steel, and 7X stronger than Delrin plastic, another common mount material. Made from the same rigid material, the front body frames won’t flex and spring like a plastic mount, which means the NVG will be much more secure. As well, the design incorporates retention features, located above and below the NVG ball-head, to securely retain the NVG during jumps, bumps, and parachute openings. Users can remove and install the NVG easily without worrying about it coming out when performing aggressive maneuvers.

Robust, easily manipulated controls. These mounts have controls that will be familiar to anyone who has used an ANVIS style mount before. When the NVG is in the flipped-down position, the mount allows users to adjust for the perfect placement in relation to their eyes. When the NVG is flipped up, power is automatically cut off, and the goggle is held securely out of the way until needed. CNC machining on STORM & FURY mounts ensures strict tolerances for rock-solid lock-up and reliable function. They feature a ball-detent Jackscrew for precise vertical adjustment that won’t change position with vibrations or use. The vertical travel spans 1.25 inches and can be easily adjusted while wearing gloves.

Redundant power delivery for enhanced reliability. Both STORM & FURY work with the standard 4-pin LEMO style connectors found on the ANVIS battery packs and many other common battery packs. Both come standard with an 8 inch cable, but can be customized according to user needs. Only one exposed cable ensures a minimal snag hazard, and incorporates a retention system to prevent the cable from pulling out of the mount. The FURY comes standard with a low battery LED which flashes discretely on the eyepiece of the goggle. The low battery LED is optional on the OPS version of the STORM.  The FURY is also available with a hard-mounted cable.

Quality Counts with AB NightVision Inc. For over fourteen years AB NightVision Inc has been designing and manufacturing night vision housings, helmet mounts, battery packs, and various tools and accessories. During that time, we have built a solid reputation for innovation, quality, and integrity. Building upon that experience, and utilizing superior design materials and techniques, we are proud to release STORM & FURY to serve the military, LEO, and civilian needs of the night vision community.

Tough & fun!
Color: Betty Bigfoot
This is my puppy’s favorite toy. I’ve bought 4 in case he eventually finds a way to destroy the ball because he is a 1 year old super-chewer. That said, this ball is TOUGH! It’s taken severe abuse from our dog & we couldn’t be more satisfied.

Not as tough as they make it seem
Color: Buck Wild, Color: Buck Wild
My dog chewed it up and destroyed it in less than 4 hours. I have a GSP 8 month old. She’s definitely a super chewer but this didn’t last at all. The tail crumbled apart and she ate some of it.

This is a HEAVY Toy
Color: Buck Wild
This toy is HEAVY. Really good quality, but my dog hasn’t shown much interest. If you can find a way to get your dog to play with it, I’m sure it would last for awhile.

Barkbox Betty
Color: Betty Bigfoot
A lot smaller than pictured. Still like it. Durable. Dog likes to carry toy around. Dog is 70 lbs and a heavy chewer and toy has lasted.

My puppy loves this pig
Size: X-Small, Color: Pig
This pig is great! My puppy loves it. It’s fun to throw. It’s soft and furry on the outside with strong edges and very durable. We’ve had it 4 months while my puppy was teething and it’s as good as new. It’s adorable too! 5 out of 5 stars !
