Flying in high speed, boosted by energy explosions from a jet engine on his back, the young, armored hero reaches greater maneuverability thanks to a pair of insect-like translucent wings. Wearing an extraterrestrial costume capable of reconfiguring itself to create a wide array of tools and weapons; a pair of pincers in the shape of small claws come out of his shoulders, protecting his head and back; while his right arm takes the form of big claws just like a scarab, his left arm becomes an energy blaster cannon, shooting rays against his enemies. With combat fury in his countenance, Iron Studios present the statue "Blue Beetle - DC Comics series #8 - Art Scale 1/10", with the armored hero with his blue and black armor described both as a technological artifact and a living entity.

In the past, the archaeologist Dan Garret met the Blue Beetle Scarab, an alien artifact in the tomb of a Pharaoh, and when Dan touched it, it granted him the name and the powers of the Blue Beetle, which he used during years to fight against a series of villains and monsters. When Dan’s career ended, his student Ted Kord took over his legacy as the second Blue Beetle, but without the powers of the Scarab, that ended up being stored in The Rock of Eternity together with Shazam. After a magic battle between Shazam and the Spectre, when The Rock of Eternity was destroyed, the Scarab fell in El Paso, Texas, and was found by High School student Jaime Reyes. While going home from school, he found Khaji Da, which is the name of the Scarab, half-buried on an abandoned terrain. He took it home, and, while he was asleep, the Scarab awoke, and with its parameters met, grafted itself onto Jaime’s spine, selecting him as his host, the new Blue Beetle. Living weapons created by a conqueror race, the Scab has a mind of its own, with full access to its own program, and its nervous system is connected to Jaime’s, allowing them both to share their thoughts and emotions. The Scarab communicates with Jaime as a voice in his mind, that sound like Jaime’s mother, which no one else can hear. The Scarab can create a distinct armor in response to Jaime’s thoughts, or when it considers the use of the armor to be necessary. The moment the Scarab dissipates the armor, it retracts back into Jaime’s body.

Revealed on November 11th, Thursday, in the panel on the Ultra Stage at CCXP 2023 and exhibited later on Iron Studios’ booth, with a global Pre-Order already available, Blue Beetle is another release of the Series #8 of the DC Comics line by Iron Studios, that had the Batman Beyond statue previously announced, and will still bring the statues of the heroes Raven and Supergirl, all chosen by the audience of fans and collectors!

Great Watch with Great Sapphire Crystal
Color: Olive/Gunmetal
Waited 2.5 years before reviewing. I love the gunmetal grey case, olive dial, and the exceptional sapphire crystal. The watch is still running great. During cold weather when wearing long sleeves, I make sure I charge the watch monthly by placing it under a table lamp for many hours because it died once due to no daylight charging. One problem is being able to see the minute markings. (The same watch with blue dial is much easier to read.) I also replaced the military-style band immediately with the excellent Archer 20mm Olive band (ARC-QRN-OLV20) and Archer 20mm Matte Gunmetal buckle ( ARC-BKL-GRYM20). I am only allowed to review once for this Timex model, so adding comments about the "Blue" version (TW2V03600JR). The blue version is the same watch but easier to view. It looks GREAT with the Archer 20mm Navy Blue band (ARC-QRN-NVY20).

I design flaw caused me to return it.
Color: Brown/Blue
Pros: - Perfect case size. - Sapphire crystal. - Solar powered quartz. - Large dial face - Minute and second hands reach to minute track for precise reading. - Great field watch design and proportions. - Effective lume on hands. Cons: - Lume on small triangular hour markers is useless, and fades quickly. - The hour numbers are not luminous. - The dull peach color chosen for the hour markers, numbers and hands in dim lighting is very dull and thus hard to read. - The dark blue color chosen for the dial is a dull hue that doesn’t really look blue, but just reduces the contrast between text and markers. - A black dial and bright white markers and numbers would make the watch much more legible/ readable, and would look much better aesthetically. It is a shame that these choices were made on an otherwise perfect design. - I was really excited that Timex finally seemed to get it when they came out with this series of models, but then they handicapped it with a dial that is only useable in bright light. What a shame. I am returning the watch.
