Our Ascend collars include one of the best collar buckle designs we have ever come across. Each buckle is made from a single block of heat-treated aluminum which is CNC machined to exacting tolerances, anodized and assembled by hand. The result is a beautifully crafted, stunning collar buckle that is as easy to use as the ubiquitous plastic side-release buckles you are already used to. Yet it is 3X stronger, the anodized finish does not fade or rub off, the buckle will not crack in below freezing temperatures, and it is only slightly heavier than your average plastic buckle.  Our Ascend collars also get our custom made Anodized Aluminum D-Ring as well.  These D-Rings are not only beautifully matched to the Ascend buckles, they are also slightly oversized for easier attachment and include our exclusive hidden tension curve. The tension curve means that it will remain in whatever position you place it. When positioned upright, it will give you greater ease of attachment and when you don’t need it, you can position it to lay it flat and out of the way. As with all Ascend products, these collars come in four unique color combinations specifically designed for this line that include interwoven reflective material to provide effective identification in low light conditions.
