The HPE 1G SFP LC SX 500m OM2 MMF Transceiver is a high-performance optical networking solution engineered for reliable, scalable Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. As a compact mini-GBIC module, it fits seamlessly into a wide range of network devices—from enterprise switches to telecom edge gear—delivering efficient, cost‑effective uplinks and access connections over multimode fiber. Designed to optimize data integrity and minimize signal loss, this transceiver combines robust construction with easy plug‑and‑play deployment, making it ideal for both commercial environments and advanced residential networks that require solid, long‑haul fiber performance without over‑engineering the infrastructure. Whether upgrading an existing 1G network or provisioning new rack‑level connectivity, this transceiver provides a dependable, industry‑standard solution for reliable, high‑speed LAN and campus linking.

  • Excellent Gigabit performance over MMF OM2: Enjoy stable 1 Gbps Ethernet transmission over multimode fiber with an optimized 850 nm SX wavelength, delivering robust data throughput across typical enterprise topologies. The SX designation indicates support for short‑wave, high‑speed links over MMF, making this module a trusted choice for server closets, distribution rooms, and fiber backbones that require dependable, low‑latency connections. With a 500 meter reach on OM2 MMF, you can confidently connect campus buildings, floors, or data centers without sacrificing performance or reliability in standard indoor environments.
  • Industry‑standard SFP form factor and LC duplex connector: As a compact SFP transceiver, it slides into standard SFP ports on a wide range of switches, routers, and media converters. The LC duplex optical connector is widely supported and easy to terminate, enabling quick field deployments and simplified splicing or fiber patching. This compatibility ensures seamless interoperability across multi‑vendor networks, eliminating the common headaches of proprietary, single‑vendor modules and helping you maintain a cohesive, scalable infrastructure.
  • Plug‑and‑play installation with plug‑in reliability: The HPE SFP SX module is designed to be plug‑and‑play, requiring no complex configuration in most network setups. Simply insert the transceiver into an available SFP slot, connect the corresponding MMF fiber pair with the LC connectors, and power up. The link LED typically indicates healthy operation when the remote end is present, allowing administrators to validate connectivity quickly. This simplicity translates into faster deployments, reduced maintenance windows, and fewer on‑site IT interventions for routine upgrades or expansions.
  • Multi‑vendor compatibility and robust build quality: HPE transceivers are engineered to deliver reliable performance within a broad ecosystem of networking gear, thanks to adherence to SFP MSA standards and interoperability expectations. This makes the 1G SFP LC SX 500m OM2 MMF Transceiver suitable for mixed environments where equipment from different vendors coexists. The module’s construction prioritizes durability, low insertion loss, and stable optical characteristics, so you can rely on consistent performance even in bustling enterprise environments with diverse traffic patterns.
  • Cost‑effective upgrade path for upgrades and expansions: For organizations looking to optimize network throughput without overhauling switches or cabling, this transceiver provides an economical uplift to existing 1 Gbps links. By leveraging the familiar SX over MMF approach, you can extend reach between floors or buildings, reconfigure access closets, or refresh aging fiber links while preserving investment in current network hardware. The result is enhanced capacity and reliability at a lower total cost of ownership, aligning with practical IT budgets and long‑term network planning goals.

This toy won my dogs hearts.
Color: Brown & Grey
I bought the monkey and elephant for my 2 large dogs. When opening the box from amazon, one of my dogs grabbed the monkey right out of my hand and took off with it. My other big brute was not to be left out, he grabbed the elephant and went the other way. They haven’t parted with either toy since. These were able to hold up to the rough play these two knuckleheads can get going. The rope is perfect for them to hang on to. The head of the toy does have filling, although not too much. The squeaky is buried inside the stuffing. One dog did manage to rip into the head trying to get to the squeaky part. I just took out the rest of the stuffing and squeaky and this toy is still his favorite. It’s a minor inconvenience to pick up the stuffing but worth it to see him this happy. I’d recommend keeping an eye on your pet when they first receive the toy. Then you’ll be able to see if they’re able to pull it apart. It took my big dogs a bit of time to get to it, but one is a mastiff, and the other is a Shepard/husky mix. Those breeds tend to tear every toy apart with time.

Unsafe product falls apart in chunks, choking hazard
Color: Brown & Grey
I bought these toys for my small 11 pound dog The product fell apart within a couple hours both this is it’s not meant for the description as a durable toy. It comes up in chunks and can cause choking. I returned the toys to make a point that I’m not gonna buy a product that can hold my pet and it’s unsafe for the advertise use.

Cute toy for small dogs
Color: Orange & Orange
The toys are cute and well priced. The rope is sturdy but the fabric areas are easily ripped. I had to throw them out after my 5 mo puppy Boston terrier ripped it with 15 minutes… oh well!
