When developing paintings, Christina often works from several photographic references to create a space that lies somewhere between real and imagined. Christina’s work resides in multiple corporate and private collections across the U.S. and Canada.
This piece is part of Christina's April 2022 solo, Looking Forward, that celebrates both the dynamic and quiet, contemplative beauty of the New England landscape. Many pieces pair celestial charts with place-specific maps of coastal New Hampshire and Maine. Within this series, Christina focused on fine detail and expanding her existing color palette.
