Designed primarily for Ferrofish MADI and ADAT converters such as the Pulse16 and A32pro Dante, this SFP MADI Single Mode Module allows you to connect compatible equipment using separately purchased SC fiber cables. As a bonus, enabling the SFP slots on your Pulse16 upgrades the device with Pulse16 MX capabilities, including access to all 16 x 16 analog channels. Please note that enabling the SFP slots requires that you contact Ferrofish directly for an unlock code.

SFP with Optical MADI I/O
Upgrading your Pulse16 adds the following Pulse16 MX features:
  • Extends the Pulse16 with additional 64 in and 64 out MADI channels.
  • All 16 x 16 analog channels can be used and converted to digital MADI and ADAT with sample rates up to 192 kHz. The ADAT ports can be used with 192 kHz (SMUX/4 = 8 channels).
  • 32 ADAT I/Os can be used for conversion/routing from/to MADI.
