Wayward

The Waylander Wayward surface lure is available in 13 eye-catching colours designed to suit all conditions, from calm to rough waters, giving you excellent versatility as the weather changes.

This long-casting lure can be worked with an erratic walk-the-dog style retrieve to attract surface-feeding predators such as bass and bluefish, amongst other species. Tipping the scales at 30 g despite being just 12 cm long thanks to its tungsten internal weights, the Wayward maintains a sleek profile that casts far and imitates small baitfish — perfect for early in the season when fish are focused on smaller prey.

Tungsten has been used due to the likelihood of countries such as Denmark banning the use of lead in fishing tackle, so you can future-proof your lure box today with the Waylander.

Fitted with high-quality BKK 6063 Fang treble hooks and ready to fish straight out of the box, these lures are built to hunt down fearsome predators. All Clear designs feature an internal reflective foil that flashes in the water to catch the attention of predatory fish.

At rest, the Wayward sits with its head on the surface, floating. Simply retrieve using small taps with the rod tip and watch the lure glide side to side in a deadly walk-the-dog action for sea bass and many other species.

  • Available in 13 colours to suit all weather and water conditions

  • Long-casting lure with walk-the-dog action for bass, bluefish, and other predators

Loved it
Format: Kindle
This book was a Rollercoaster of emotions and I was all about it. I love the relationship between Luca and Juliette bc it was real and human. It showed growth, love, and understanding. It wasn't easy but it was real. I enjoyed every moment of it especially the soul marks. That was a wonderful element to the plot that I would love to read more of.

So cute
Format: Paperback
Ok, going into this, I didn't realize this had any fantasy-ish/magical elements, so for a minute, that threw me off. But honestly, I was really pleasantly surprised by this book. I had never heard of Katie Chandler before, but had seen the book mentioned on a list of upcoming releases so I just thought I would give it a try. This is a classic rivals to lovers story and I was here for it! Luca and Juliette were pretty nasty to each other in the beginning so it definitely took a minute for them to come around. I really enjoyed the amount of character growth that happened in this story. Juliette especially comes a long way within herself to be a better person her Luca and for herself. It was definitely a bit of a rollercoaster with the push and pull, but it paid off in the end. The idea of a "fated mates" situation, in a mostly contemporary romance was definitely original and I look forward to seeing how she might incorporate those fantasy elements into future books. 4 stars from me! Great story.

I love a book that transports me and boy does this one ever! I've read it and listened to the audiobook. The travel and luxury vibes in this are elite as is the anxiety representation (which I appreciate.) Love this book and love this author!

Underdeveloped Debut
Format: Kindle
Chandler’s debut novel started out as an engaging read, though the storyline leaned heavily on a trope that is used too frequently. The protagonists, Juliette and Luca, had great chemistry as rivals. However, as the plot developed and the supernatural twist was revealed (which felt akin to the film In Time, but only with respect to the tattoos), both lost their appeal. Luca seemed to lack depth, despite the fact that she was supposed to be the more emotional and sensitive one. Juliette was insufferable at times and I did not believe the growth she underwent in order to find her way back to Luca. The supporting characters were forgettable and their interactions with Juliette and Luca did nothing to save the characterization flaws. The conflict between Juliette and Luca seemed forced towards the middle and end too, as Luca put in more effort into their relationship than Juliette did. By the end of the novel, unfortunately, my eyes reverted to skimming the pages, so I could finish it faster. Please note that while I found fault with most elements of the novel, it overall was not an unpleasant read— just very dull. Thank you to NetGalley and Atria, as I was invited to read this novel after receiving an e-mail from Atria Books.
