Most players act as LAPD homicide detectives chasing leads across 1940s Los Angeles, while one player becomes The Chisel—stalling, bluffing, and manipulating every interview. Interrogations use the ARC (Adaptive Response Card) system, forcing detectives to decide when to accept an answer and when to challenge it at real risk. Each case unfolds through separate casebooks, with detectives tracking clues and theories on dedicated investigation sheets as the city opens up. A large, historically inspired map board anchors the chase and makes movement and timing matter. It plays 1–5 players in 30–150 minutes and is recommended for ages 14+.
