Discover the Unique Trumpet Pitcher Plant

The Sarracenia purpurea 'Smurf' is not just any plant; it's a remarkable carnivorous wonder that brings a touch of nature's ingenuity into your home or garden. Known for its striking appearance and fascinating feeding habits, this special import is perfect for plant enthusiasts and beginners alike.

Native Beauty

Originating from the rich landscapes of North America, the Trumpet Pitcher is renowned for its ability to thrive in sunny environments. Its elegant trumpet-shaped leaves are designed to lure and trap unsuspecting insects, making it a natural pest control ally.

Easy to Cultivate

  • Ideal Conditions: This plant flourishes best in full sun with ample water. A suitable outdoor spot will help it thrive.
  • Watering Needs: Keep your Sarracenia pots in a few centimeters of clean water at all times to ensure optimal growth. They should never be allowed to dry out.
  • Simple Care: These plants are among the easiest to grow—perfect for both seasoned gardeners and those just starting out!

Repotting Made Simple

Upon receiving your plant, there's no immediate need for repotting. However, we recommend a repotting during its winter dormancy, roughly from May to July, every 1 to 2 years or whenever the growing medium starts to develop an unpleasant odor. Be sure to use a medium specifically designed for carnivorous plants for best results.

Join the Carnivorous Plant Trend

Adding the Trumpet Pitcher, Sarracenia purpurea 'Smurf' to your collection not only enhances your botanical display but also offers a unique conversation starter. Embrace the beauty and efficiency of this captivating carnivorous plant today!

Decent Shoes with Misleading Description (Not Leather)
Size: 12 Wide, Color: Black, Size: 12 Wide, Color: Black
I only look for leather when I’m purchasing dress shoes. Under the description “details” on this item it lists the shoe as leather upper and inner lining. A photo shows “genuine Napa leather lining”. If you keep reading (which I have now that I’ve received the shoes) it shows “faux leather” in the small print and that is not “leather”. I run a small leather business and this irks me because it’s clearly false advertising. The details also show the product is made in Brazil but when they arrived today, the shoe tag shows “Made in China” and “Man Made upper and lower”. I don’t hate the shoes. They look nice. What I know is they won’t hold up over time like leather, which is why the description should be accurate and not misleading.
