This Laurina lot is a very special coffee, it is quite different to other varietals, where it has a natural low level of caffeine compared to most other varietals, generally producing around 1/3 to 1/2 of the caffeine level. Laurina varietals produce a very bright, floral and sweet cup, we suspect due to a lack of caffeine bitterness. Due to the lack of caffeine in the coffee tree makeup, the plant is quite fragile and hard to grow, hence why it is so rare!
This coffee is a definite must buy coffee for exotic coffee lovers, it is such a delicate and sweet cup, we highly recommend grabbing some while we have it on offer as it won't be around too long.
