In part two of the book, we look at solutions to some of the biggest challenges that high altitude gardeners face, including a cold, short growing season, arid climate, strong winds, hungry wildlife, weeds, minimal wild pollinators, and poor soil, as well as pests and diseases.
Part three is a reference section with the distinct growing parameters of the most common garden vegetables, as well as their suitability for being grown at high altitudes. This section can and should be regularly referred to over the years as you perfect growing food in your unique garden.
