Der Tankring Basic von HEPCO & BECKER ist speziell für die Modelle Suzuki GSX-R 1000 der Baujahre 2012 bis 2016 entwickelt worden. Dieses Zubehörteil dient der sicheren Befestigung eines kompatiblen Tankrucksacks direkt am Motorrad.

Komponenten und Montage

Im Lieferumfang des Tankring Basic ist neben dem Ring selbst auch ein anpassbarer Gegenhalter enthalten, der je nach Tankform und Lenkereinschlag am Tankrucksack angebracht wird. Der Tankdeckel bleibt auch mit montiertem Tankring voll zugänglich, was die Handhabung im Alltag erleichtert.

Merkmale und Funktionen

  • Der Tankring gewährleistet einen stabilen Halt des Tankrucksacks, selbst bei hohen Geschwindigkeiten.
  • Die Bedienung erfolgt durch eine mechanische Verriegelung, die ein hörbares Einrasten beim Aufsetzen des Tankrucksacks ermöglicht.
  • Zur Entriegelung wird ein Gurt genutzt, der in Fahrtrichtung am vorderen Teil des Tankrucksacks angebracht ist. Dies ermöglicht ein schnelles Abnehmen des Rucksacks.
  • In Deutschland ist für dieses Tankrucksacksystem keine Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis (ABE) oder eine Eintragung in die Fahrzeugpapiere notwendig.
  • Die empfohlene Höchstgeschwindigkeit mit montiertem Tankrucksack beträgt 130 km/h.
  • Die maximale Zuladung für den Tankrucksack sollte etwa 3 kg nicht überschreiten.

Hinweise zur Kompatibilität

Es ist wichtig, dass der Tankring und der Tankrucksack aus demselben System stammen, um eine korrekte Funktion zu gewährleisten. Ein Tankrucksack mit Lock-it Gegenhalter ist nicht mit einem BASIC Tankring kompatibel und vice versa.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
