Cattleya Chloris ist eine außergewöhnlich schöne Hybride. Zuerst 1893 von Veitch & Sons im Gardners' Chronicle (siehe 3. Abbildung oben) vorgestellt, hat sie bereits damals viel Aufmerksamkeit erregt. Hier haben wir eine Remake mit blauen Eltern. Die intensivste Blütenfärbung bekommt man, wenn während der Knospenreife der Tag / Nacht Unterschied 5-7°C beträgt, dabei muß auf Luftfeuchte geachtet werden, damit die Knospen nicht vertrocknen.
