Die Roper's Roundels von Bulldog (Dan Tobacco) sind ein handwerkliches Meisterstück der Hamburger Tabakmanufaktur: Süßer Virginia-Tabak wird mit einer kleinen Menge Perique zu einer Scheibe gepresst, dann mit einem Kern aus Black Cavendish umhüllt und erneut gepresst. Das Ergebnis sind die charakteristischen Roundels – runde Münzen mit einem sichtbaren Black Cavendish-Herz im Anschnitt.

Schnitt & Verarbeitung

Der Coin-Schnitt macht diesen Tabak zu etwas Besonderem. Die Scheiben lassen sich nach Belieben zubereiten: gerieben als Ready Rubbed für einen gleichmäßigen Abbrand, oder gefaltet eingestopft. Beim Reiben empfiehlt es sich, das Black Cavendish-Herz gut zu verteilen, damit alle drei Tabaksorten gleichmäßig im Pfeifenkopf ankommen.

Aroma & Geschmack

Der Virginia dominiert klar und liefert eine natürliche Süße mit grasig-floralen Noten. Das Black Cavendish-Herz bringt Honigaromen, während der Perique-Anteil eine dezente Würze hinterlässt. Kein künstliches Aroma – nur die natürliche Komplexität dreier sorgfältig ausgewählter Tabaksorten.

Great Espresso Machine for Beginners

Update: Milk teamer doesn't deliver the foam like at the first couple of days, and the espresso doesn't come with the crema any longer. Somehow the pressure goes above the espresso range, and I tried to decrease the amount of coffee, and no results. I am so disappointed. First thing that impressed me about this little espresso machine is how easy it to use. You can make a double espresso shot in literarily 1 minute. Second thing is size, the machine is pretty compact that you can place it anywhere in the kitchen without worrying about taking too much space. Also, it heats up quick, and the options are straightforward. The water tank is just the perfect size, which is excellent for me, and I don't have to refill water constantly. Performance-wise, it feels solid and does an excellent job making shots like what you'd expect in a cafe. The water pressure is just right, delivering this espresso shot without the extra acidity. The flowmeter regulates the water evenly which is great in making that creamy espresso. Something else to note, it's small and also quiet, which is big to me since the last one was making unnecessary noise every time I make a shot. Now, the milk frother is pretty decent, and create that foam you'd love to see in your cappuccino and latte. Overall, this is a pretty decent choice, and feels durable.

Simple yet easy must have for discerning coffee drinkers
